Lingerie Francaise Exhibition

The Lingerie Francaise Exhibition was on display in New York City while we went to market, so of course we just had to make a stop. Eleven historic lingerie brands were on display showing more than 250 pieces, including for the first time French corsetry brands. You can imagine our excitement to have the opportunity to attend such an exhibit. To top it off we had the pleasure of personally meeting the exhibit’s creator, Catherine Ormen. We were honored to meet such an amazing, talented and wonderful lady, who took the time to speak with us as well as meeting her lovely daughter who was traveling with her. Catherine is a fashion historian who decided to contact the major lingerie brands to help create the exhibits collection. We appreciate that so many have been able to come see all those amazing, vintage pieces on display that together cultivate hundreds of years of lingerie history.
