Perfect Robe For The Royal Wedding

Just like the rest of the world we have been celebrating The Royal Wedding all week long here at Beneath The Gown. Today good friend makeup artist, Jennie Fresa is at The Wedding Salon in New York City having a Royal themed afternoon. We felt so honored when Jennie asked to have her models sport Beneath The Gown’s newest item. Introducing, The Angelina© Robe. The perfect accessory for your wedding day.

The Angelina© Robe is designed and had made by Beneath The Gown owner Josie Jolon. The robes are made of 100% silk charmeuse and can be fully customized with your something old, something new or something blue. The robes come in two styles, one is offered with Chantilly lace and the other comes with English pleatted netting. The back is made of Ivory Point D’Esprit illusion or tulle and both robes come standard with the pleating tulle net bordering around the front of the robe.

Our very own Alicia Valentino, dress consultant and manager at The White Dress By The Shore got to wear the very first Angelina©. Alicia’s robe can be seen below from her wedding day. She chose to add ruffles from her very own wedding gown and lace from her mothers wedding gown. Her something blue was the personalized “Mrs. Valentino” on the front.

Here is what the wonderful Alicia had to say, “The robe that Josie created for my wedding day was such a very special gift! I not only felt beautiful on the morning of my wedding day, but brought the robe with me on my honeymoon and continue to wear it at home. Pieces of my mother’s wedding gown were used to accent the robe and having my new married name inscribed on the front of the robe was the perfect touch to bring in memories of the past and all the great things for me ahead as Mrs. Valentino!
