There is no question that Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist is insanely talented. Kim definitely loves drama and she isn’t afraid to rock a super glam look for a day trotting around LA with her equally glammed-out sisters. While most of us don’t wear this much makeup day to day, Kim’s look is one that I love to recreate for Boudoir photo shoots. What better occasion to channel your inner celebrity and treat yourself to professional hair and makeup! Kim’s look is one of my most requested styles for these sexy styled shoots. Her look involves a lot of contouring. This is a technique that requires different shades of foundations and powders to give a high contrast, well defined look (probably not a good idea to try at home). This takes a lot of skill and must be well-blended in order to look great in photographs. The other key element to Kim’s signature makeup style is her full, thick lashes! My favorites false lashes are by MAC. Even drugstore brands like Ardell make a fun selection of falsies.

Another favorite celebrity that consistently has flawless, gorgeous makeup, is Jennifer Lopez. I mean, is she not the most beautiful women that ever lived, even sans makeup?! Jen is a chameleon and loves to experiment with different looks. This look here is one that would translate well for a Boudoir shoot. I love her smokey eyes and perfectly bronzed skin! My suggestion is to invest in a spray tan a day or two prior to your shoot. This way, your body matches your sun-kissed face. Ask your makeup artist to use warm colors like bronze, topaz and peach to achieve this super sexy J-LO makeup.

Carrie Underwood is a typical Southern belle and she LOVES her makeup! This look is so pretty! Even though she is wearing a lot of eye makeup, everything else is soft making her overall look appear balanced and fresh-faced. You can never go wrong with a pink glossy lip for a Boudoir makeup look. Carrie always has glowing skin. I image her makeup artist used illuminating creams and powders to give her skin that dewy finish. As a blonde, she probably has to fill in her brows, which makes all of the difference especially when being photographed. Carrie gets it right by using a warm shade that matches her low-lights, giving her brows the definition they need.
